Alot of Gorillas in here. The foliage parts on a winding trail to reveal 200 kilograms of muscle, covered by a thick coat of silver and black hair, sitting amongst the thickets of a vast and unforgiving forest. You make eye contact, but there is no threat. These beasts are docile if you keep your distance.
Going for a gorilla trekking activity is one of a lifetime experience and indeed a wonderful one. This trip gives you the opportunity to have a close contact with these giants of the jungle while in their natural habitat. With over 12 families in Uganda’s bwindi Impenetrable forest you are guaranteed to spot at least one family and 1hr with them taking photos and videos. Please note that the cost of permit to go on this trip is $700. The trekking will take half a day and it can be done all year around. Only 8 people will be allowed to go for trekking on any given day.
Depending on your schedule, we arrange trips from 3 days to 14 days trips and for clients that are time short, we will arrange a fly in and out trip.
Accomodation within bwindi Impenetrable ranges from Mid range to luxury lodges. All depends on budget and preferences.
After gorilla trekking you can get immersed in other excursions like the Batwa community for a cultural visit and nature walk.
